Apple iPad 2 useful for college?

    Apple iPad 2 useful for college?
    I am going to college next year, and I already have an Apple iMac (newest model) but I obviously can't take that to class. So would an iPad be useful for taking to class for taking notes? I don't want to buy a $1,000+ laptop, and iPads are only $499. And I can use my wireless keyboard with it (from my iMac). So would an iPad 2 be useful for college? And does anyone have one and how is it? Easy to take notes, email...etc etc. Thanks!

    Hi Toccara,

    Not sure the iPad is the most useful for taking notes. If you're going to attach a keyboard anyways, you might as well go with a less expensive notebook or laptop that already has a keyboard built in?

    It woiuld be much easier to take in a notebook which is small and has a keyboard built in already.
